Waterloo – The Best of Abba Tribute Show, Billingham Forum

THIS Saturday, the forum's theatre hosts Waterloo – The Best of Abba Tribute Show which features songs from one of the best-selling music artists of all time.

In 1974, the little-known Swedish pop group Abba swept to superstardom with their Eurovision winning Waterloo, and four decades later the song and the band remain as popular as ever. Michelle Cleave (Agnetha), Rob Miles (Bjorn), Lissi Link (Anni-Frid) and Rob Arnall (Benny)

give fans the opportunity to experience the thrill of a live Abba show.

James Baker the show's producer and director, says: "Recreating Abba's music for a live show was a challenge to say the least. The shear enormity of how we could effectively recreate Abba's unique sound soon became a reality as we sat down and began listening to their huge back catalogue of hits. We really wanted the audience to experience the sound of a fully live Abba show, while keeping true to the iconic sound of their incredible studio recordings.

"The show features an incredible live band fronted by four performers who were deliberately chosen as not only phenomenal lookalikes, but because they sound identical to the original four members. We honestly believe we have achieved all that we set out to. The reviews have pretty much summed it up as they claim the show to be: 'The closest, most authentic tribute to Abba on the planet'."

Box Office: 01642-520240 or forumtheatrebillingham.co.uk. The show plays York Barbican on November 12
