The brand has taken over two units at Dalton Park and carried out an extensive renovation including a dedicated outdoor garden centre. It has created 42 new jobs for the local area.

The opening comes a week earlier than planned after the retail giant announced the new store back in January.

Shoppers will be able to get their hands on the huge selection of products The Range is famous for including home décor, kitchenware, soft furnishings, gardening goods, and cleaning essentials.

The store is located next to Morrisons at the County Durham outlet centre.
