DARLINGTON Mowden Park recall Talite Vaioleti and Ollie Hodgson to their pack after lengthy absences for today's visit of Rosslyn Park to The Northern Echo Arena.

It will be only Vaioleti's third appearance of the season after his return from last summer's shoulder surgery in December was cut short by a calf injury.

He partners Rob Conquest in the second row, replacing the unavailable Guy van den Dries, who deputised in the last match for the suspended Ben Gledhill.

Hodgson will be back in the No 8 slot he occupied for the first two months of the season before being injured during the big win at Tynedale.

George Hedgley is given a chance at blind side, with Joe Maud on the bench and Jack Allcock completes the back row as Callum Mackenzie has a shoulder injury.

Recent signing Russell Anderson, the former Scotland Under 20s hooker, is again on the bench, along with Bath Academy winger George Wacokecoke. Mowden are keen to take a look at him as he could be available next season.

“This is another chance to make a big statement,” said coach John Newton. “Rosslyn Park are second and we want to be contending at that end of the league next year so we will find out in this game where we stand.”

Rosslyn Park last visited Darlington 15 years ago for what was a huge occasion at Yiewsley Drive, with 1,500 present to see the Tetley's Bitter Cup fourth round tie.

Mowden defied a gap of three divisions to win 23-11 and book a place in the last 16, in which they visited Harlequins.

After winning their last home game against third-placed Coventry, this is another chance for Mowden to claim a big scalp on what they have designated a family fun day with the gates opening at noon.

They need to win to stay above Blaydon, whose recent form should be good enough to secure a fourth successive win away to relegated Macclesfield.

Tynedale will be joining them in the drop if they lose at home to Blackheath. Brett Connon returns at fly half after injury, allowing Matty Outson to revert to scrum half.

Billingham are without player-coach Chris Hyndman for the National Three North match at Huddersfield YMCA, so Matt Kirby is at centre with Elliott Husband on the wing.

West Hartlepool hoped to christen their new clubhouse in the final North One East home match of the season against Percy Park, but it is not quite ready. An official opening is planned during the World Cup.

West need one more win to be safe and if it doesn't come today it will make their next match a nervy affair away to Bradford and Bingley, who are five points behind in the third relegation slot.

Eldon Myers continues at centre with Scott Butcher returning on the wing.

After scoring four tries in last week's win at Wath, winger Rhys Kilbride misses Middlesbrough's home game against Yarnbury in Yorkshire One. Jack Bircham switches to the wing with Matthew Todd at full back.

Opportunities are given to three youngsters up front with Chris Palmer hooking, Mathew Ivens in the second row and Aaron Lawson at No 8.

It could be a decisive day in the neck-and-neck tussle at the top of Durham and Northumberland One with Morpeth facing a tough test at third-placed Durham City, while Guisborough can expect another easy win at Blyth.

Stockton visit Gosforth, hoping to avenge a 29-25 home defeat. Back row pair Liam Healey (broken arm) and Martin Dixon (rib) are ruled out by last week's injuries and prop Matt Austen has a shoulder problem.

Ben D'Cunha makes his first appearance of the season after injury and is joined in the front row by Andy Bailes, while Dan Phinn and Ritchie Brown return in the backs.
