TICKET details for Darlington’s play-off encounter with Spennymoor Town next week are expected to be announced today.

After Quakers drew 1-1 with Warrington Town on Tuesday evening, a result which brought an end to their title aspirations, officials were in talks with their Moors counterparts yesterday regarding arrangements for the one-legged tie.

It takes place on Wednesday at Heritage Park, Darlington holding home advantage due to finishing second, three places higher up the table than Jason Ainsley’s Spennymoor team.

Quakers complete their league season on Saturday at home to relegated New Mills and, like Moors, their current position will not alter.

Moors will finish fifth, their final game being at home to Burscough, while Northwich Victoria and Bamber Bridge meet in the other semi-final on Tuesday.

Home advantage will be resolved when each team concludes their season on Saturday, third-placed Northwich currently holding a one-point advantage over Brig with a superior goal difference.

The play-off final is on Saturday, May 2, to be played at the highest placed semi-final winner.

Darlington’s match with New Mills is no longer all-ticket. Quakers have scrapped the procedure due to the game now meaning little in terms of league position.

Meanwhile, the Darlington 1883 Fundraising Group have announced arrangements for their end of season get together on Saturday, May 2, 7pm at the Dolphin Centre.

Match shirts will be handed to their sponsors, the away player of the season award will be given as voted for by fans on the Supporters Club bus.

The event is being sponsored by Glaxo Smith Kline and all proceeds will go into the Back To Darlo Fund.

Tickets are £5 each and will be available to purchase at Saturday's game at Heritage Park, behind the turnstiles near the entrance to the bar area. They will also be available from Quaker Retail.
